 | The future of Quake 3? |

 | As far as i know only some czech and polish teams still play Q3 cpma. Id say its not worth holding one more season. Lets stick with QL and include as many mods as we have admins for (TDM 2v2/4v4, CTF 4v4, CA 5v5).

 | q3 tdm in Poland is dead now because there's no leagues at the moment. I think that possibly 3 clans may be interested: foo, C4, t13, but I'm not sure. Main problem about us (t13) is that we signed to about 3 leagues in QL so there will be not enough time to play that one too. It makes me sad thinking of dying Quake3 which is generally better TDM platform for sure and not only because of maps.
The problem is that it still has that fucking overpowered LG and RG which makes this game annoying. This weekend there was a LAN party in Czech Republic where was 13 teams and we played OSP. You cannot image how wonderful it was to play again without xerp and super LG. Stats where lower even than on cpma ping 70, but it was good cause it made gameplay more teamplay based.
However OSP is unplayable on internet so this is the end. One thing that could change it was CQ3, but we all never give it a real chance. I guess that a little bit tweaked CQ3 could be great competetive platform, but it's probably too late. Now we had to wait until QL gets to its mature level. Its power is about simplicity of use, better weapon balance and some fresh feel. So let's stick with that and let's back to that discusion before spring season.

 | Seems there is not much interrest for another Q3 season, so we'll drop Q3.
